Meet the Team

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Carr joined the practice in 1982 and is the senior partner. She offers a full GP service, and is interested in women’s health. She is responsible for GP Retainer training.

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Shaw joined the practice in 1986 and is the executive partner. He offers a full range of GP care. He has an interest in diabetes, joint injections and drug misuse, and is involved with the Local Community Health Partnership Forum.

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Miller became a partner in 1987. She is one of our GP registrar trainers. She offers a full range of GP care to her patients, and can also insert the contraceptive implant.

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Binns joined us in 1996. She offers a full range of GP care, runs the diabetic clinic, and is interested in mental health, gynaecology and paediatrics. She is a trainer for medical students, and will soon become a GP Registrar Trainer.

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Agarwala joined the practice in August 2007. He provides a full range of care for his patients, and has an interest in drug misuse. He is also responsible for much of the technical “IT” running of the practice.

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Wade became a partner in 2010. She offers a full range of GP services, can insert the contraceptive implant.  She also cares for two of Musselburgh’s residential homes.

GP Partner ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Alami is the practice’s new partner having joined the partnership in October 2011. She offers a full range of general practice care, and has an interest in women’s health. She is trained to fit the contraceptive coil.

GP Retainer ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Kelion is our Women’s Retainer (an experienced GP returning to practice part time after family commitments). She is interested in dermatology, women and children’s health.

GP Registrar ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Dr Ge Yu joins us from August 2012 until the end of July 2013, to complete his final year of post-graduate training before becoming a qualified GP.
